As technology continues to advance at an exponential rate, there are challenges to overcome—in some cases fundamentally changing how we manage and protect the data that supports our institution. As such, UCR Information Technology Solutions is proud to introduce, Project Genesis: A New Beginning.

The purpose of Project Genesis is to move a majority of the ITS data center infrastructure and equipment to a world-class “colocation” data center facility, while also increasing our ability to utilize cloud computing offerings such as Amazon, Microsoft or Google. After successful completion of Project Genesis, the majority of our ITS data center infrastructure and equipment will be located within the Cyxtera OC2 Data Center in Irvine, CA.
